Well, this is my first experience as a blogger! I'm so excited and have lots to share. I have no idea which direction this is going to take, but I think that's what has compelled me to blog. I see so many cool blogs out there from my time (too much time) on Facebook and Pinterest, that I feel like I should be doing this! I should be inspiring others! I need to be a positive influence. (That's not to say that I alwazys will be!) My sister has told me that I am a good writer. I'm actually beginning to believe her.
Disclaimer: I am not here to impress, amaze, inspire, or be judged, if that happens it is merely a coincidence. If you don't like my thoughts, spelling, grammar, or my many great talents, then shew!! Don't read it! Go find someone else to pick on. (But leave me some constructive criticism before you go. I learn best from my mistakes.)
Like I said, I have lots to share and after some thought I've mentally organized {That's shocking!} (you should have heard the voice of Buddy the Elf just then) my blog into categories (is that what bloggers do? no clue, but that's what I'm going to do!):
- "Crafty McMakeythings" - Things I've made (usually because I was inspired by something I saw. Sometimes I add my own twist. Sometimes I fail miserably. Sometimes I cannot stand what I've made, but others like it (I get that from my Gramzy...I'm sure I'll be writing about her at some point.) Sometimes I haven't even made them yet...
- "Things that make you go hmmm..." - Life Lessons, Faith, Growing up, Motivation, yada, yada, yada...
- "Child Rearin'" - (What does that even mean? "Hey, let's go rear some kids!" That doesn't sound very nice) What I've learned, What I wish I were more like, What my kids have taught me, What other people's kids have taught me (trust me, there are a lot of them!!!), What other parents have taught me, HOW AMAZING KIDS ARE!!!
- "The Whole Fam Damily"- I adore my family. All of them right down to the dogs. I'm not just talking about the pepes that live under the roof with me, I'm talking about sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles (even the grumpy ones), nephews, nieces, cousins, second cousins, third cousins, even double-first cousins!!!!! And, sit down, IN-LAWS!!! Now I'm here to tell ya about what I've learned from them and my pride for them.
- "Take Care of Your Body" (spoken like Arnold Schwarzenegger) - Ways I've learned to keep myself in check and to support others on their journey of weight loss. AND my two enemies who come knocking on the door every once in a while: Senor Unmotivated and Lady Lazy. They're dispicable!
- "Dibble Dabble Dop!" I dibble in all kinds of things. Photography, Watercolors, sewing, interior design, cooking, etc.
So this is where we begin. Hope you enjoy what you read. I know I will enjoy it. Hey, let's face it - I'm doing this for me! I'm real. I'm glad to be real. A human who makes mistakes and has some pretty awesome moments too!
enjoy!
Caroline
